Kelly Sullivan, Vice President, Data Center Engineering & Operations, Cyxtera
Mr. Sullivan has over 20 years of experience leading global teams serving mission-critical environments. In his role at Cyxtera, Sullivan heads a team of 600 facilities and IT staff. Sullivan’s team is responsible for the successful construction design and implementation, operation, budgeting, maintenance optimization and asset life cycle planning for Cyxtera’s 57 global colocation data centers. Sullivan joined Cyxtera through the acquisition of CenturyLink’s data centers and colocation business. Before CenturyLink, he worked at Northrop Grumman as a senior design and engineering project manager.
Rhonda Ascierto, Research Director, Datacenter Technologies and Eco-Efficient IT, 451 Research
Ms. Ascierto is a Research Director for the Datacenter Technologies and Eco-Efficient IT Channel at 451 Research. Ascierto focuses on data center innovation and energy management in data centers and across the enterprise. She also covers technologies that enable the efficient use of all resources and help to minimize the environmental impact of business activity. Rhonda has been analyzing the crossroads of IT and business for more than 15 years.
Stephanie Singer, VP, Global Data Center Facilities & IT Service Continuity Management, Reed Elsevier
Ms. Singer is the Vice President of Global Data Center Facilities & IT Service Continuity Management at Reed Elsevier where she is responsible for global data center and server room facilities, networks, and cable plant infrastructure. Ms. Singer has led the data center facilities team since 1990, maintaining an excellent data center availability record throughout day-to-day operations and numerous lifecycle upgrades to the mechanical and electrical systems. 
Steve Press, Vice President, Data Center Solutions, Kaiser Permanente
Mr. Press is the Vice President of Data Center Solutions at Kaiser Permanente. Mr. Press has been a data center professional for more than 30 years and is the leader of Kaiser Permanente's (KP) National Data Center Solutions group, responsible for hyper-critical facility operations, data center engineering, strategic direction, and IT environmental sustainability, delivering real-time health care to more then 8.7 million health-care members. Mr. Press came to KP after working in Bank of America’s international critical facilities team for more than 20 years.
Julian Kudritzki, COO, Uptime Institute
Mr. Kudritzki joined the Uptime Institute in 2004 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for the global proliferation of Uptime Institute Standards. He has supported the founding of Uptime Institute offices in numerous regions, including Brasil, Russia, and North Asia. He has collaborated on the development of numerous Uptime Institute publications, education programs, and unique initiatives such as Server Roundup and FORCSS. 
Brad Peterson, Manager, Data Center Engineering, LinkedIn
Mr. Peterson is Manager of Data Center Engineering at LinkedIn, where he is responsible for evaluating data center environments and designing efficient, cost-saving solutions for customers. Prior to joining LinkedIn, Mr. Peterson held data center design and critical systems operations roles with IO, Applied Business Communications of AZ and Baxter-Kenworthy Electric.
Kelly Morgan, Research Vice President, Services, 451 Research
Ms. Morgan leads the services analyst business at 451 Research which tracks hosting, managed services and multi-tenant data center providers worldwide. Her team's areas of coverage include providers, market size, data center supply and demand, and the dynamics of the industry overall. Before joining 451 Research, Morgan spent nearly 10 years in private equity, focusing on investments in telecommunications, IT and data centers.
Lawrence Andy Lawrence, Research Vice President - Datacenter Technologies (DCT) & Eco-Efficient IT, Foresight Project, 451 Research
Mr. Lawrence is the Vice President of Research for Datacenter Technologies and Eco-Efficient IT at 451 Research. He also leads the 451 Foresight project, which looks at the potential impact of emerging technologies across the IT industry over the next decade. Andy specializes in data center efficiency, market evolution and automation, both from a technical and economic point of view. He has an interest in the convergence of IT and energy technologies, both in the data center and beyond.
Matt Stansberry, Director of Content & Publications, Uptime Institute
Mr. Stansberry is the Uptime Institute Director of Content and Program Director for Uptime Institute Symposium. Stansberry has researched the convergence of technology, facility management, and energy issues in the data center since 2003 and currently conducts the annual data center survey and develops the agenda for Uptime Institute industry events including Symposium and Charrette.
Michael Sweeney, Data Center Architect, Salesforce
Mr. Sweeney is a Data Center Architect for Salesforce, and is responsible for scaling the hardware and data center footprint to keep pace with Salesforce growth. Prior to joining Salesforce, Mr. Sweeney served at Principal Data Center Architect at Microsoft, Principal Engineer of Modular Data Centers at Dell and worked on Data Center related projects at Active Power and Turner Construction.
Daniel Gaffney, Director, Critical Infrastructure Group, BNY Mellon
Mr. Gaffney is Director, Critical Infrastructure Group at BNY Mellon. Dan and his staff manage the global enterprise data centers and critical infrastructure for BNY Mellon which process over a trillion dollars in transactions per day. He has over 25 years experience in process control and electrical engineering, working both for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) in the pharmaceutical and process industry, as well as over 13 years of financial services mission critical facilities experience with BNY Mellon.
Todd Traver, Vice President, IT Optimization and Strategy, Uptime Institute
Mr. Traver is Vice President, IT Optimization and Strategy, and is responsible for providing thought leadership and consulting services. He is expanding Uptime Institute's offerings, integrating the areas of data center planning, design, efficiency, along with organizational IT governance to enhance application resiliency, end user experience, quality of service–all to maximize IT business value and optimize total cost of operation. In addition to his 30+ years of industry experience, he holds a BS in Economics and Computer Science and certification as a Project Management Professional. Todd is a Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCDP) and Accredited Tier Specialist (ATS).
Stephen Douglas, CSP, ARM, UL Risk Engineer, Technology Segment Risk Control Director, CNA Insurance
Mr. Douglas is the national Risk Control leader of CNA’s Technology customer segment. CNA Technology provides insurance and risk control solutions to businesses in software and IT services, electronics manufacturing and communications industries. He has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years and has also worked as a production engineer in electronics manufacturing.
Terence P. Deneny, Vice President, Structure Tone - Mission Critical
Mr. Deneny's experience includes over 30 years managing the design, engineering and construction of critical facilities and data centers, as well as infrastructure for financial services, hyperscale cloud providers, telecommunications, colocation, healthcare, and Fortune 100 clients, globally. For the past eighteen years, he has served as Vice President of Structure Tone’s Mission Critical sector providing specialized expertise ranging from needs assessment/site selection and design through commissioning and operations of critical facilities and data centers for clients, consultants, engineers and service providers.
Doug Kindig, Regional Sales Manager, Starline
Mr. Kindig is the Western Regional Sales Manager for Starline, where he is responsible for overseeing the Western territory sales channel and overall customer experience using Starline’s power distribution solutions within data centers. Kindig has over 9 years of experience dealing with power systems within mission critical facilities and utilities. Prior to joining Starline, he worked for ComRent International, where he developed extensive knowledge of load testing solutions to support the commissioning of mission critical electrical systems.
Mark Oxley, CTO & Founder, Data Shelter
Mr. Oxley is CTO & Founder of Data Shelter, and is building his first Tier IV facility. Oxley believes that outages can be a thing of the past. He has spent the last 3 years perfecting the use of intelligent design and hardened infrastructure to create the next evolution of co-location data centers. Mark is an Accredited Tier Designer, a Member of IEEE and has been providing his technical expertise in the IT, cloud and data center world for over 15 years.
John Sheputis, President, Infomart Data Centers
In 2006 John founded Fortune Data Centers and served as CEO until late 2014 when Fortune merged with Infomart to form Infomart Data Centers, where he currently serves as President. Prior to Fortune, John founded and managed several Silicon Valley ventures, most of which specialized in large-scale infrastructure management and hosting of global applications. From 1999 through 2003, he was COO and Co-Founder of Totality (now a unit of Verizon Business), which helped launch and manage over 100 Internet applications for some of the nation’s most trusted and well respected firms. John also held senior management positions at Solidcore (sold to MacAfee in 2009), BeVocal (Sold to Nuance in 2007), Enron, Gemini Consulting, and Accenture.
Éric Filion, Vice President – Customers, Hydro-Québec Distribution
Mr. Filion has been Vice President – Customers at Hydro-Québec since January 2016. In addition to overseeing customer services, he is responsible for the advanced metering infrastructure, market development in Québec and the integration of new technologies, including solar and energy storage. Prior to joining Hydro-Québec, Éric worked 20 years in the aerospace industry and held several management positions in operations, namely in engineering, industrial production, procurement and logistics, product development, and customer relations. He has worked at CAE Électronique, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Bombardier, where he was Vice President and General Manager for the Challenger business aircraft division.
Dave Sterlace, Global Head of Technology for Data Center Industry Sector, ABB
Mr. Sterlace is the Global Head of Technology for the Data Center Industry Sector at ABB and has over 25 years of experience in the critical power market. Prior to his current role, Dave held numerous positions at ABB including leading ABB Low Voltage's Vertical Marketing in the U.S, Global Critical Power Segment manager, Global ABB key account manager for Emerson Network Power, and regional business development and sales roles.
Yevgeniy Sverdlik, Editor in Chief, Data Center Knowledge
Mr. Sverdlik is a San Francisco-based business and technology journalist. He currently serves as editor in chief at Data Center Knowledge, covering the global data center industry.
Pitt Turner, Global Executive of Network and Senior Tier Certification Authority, Uptime Institute
Mr. Turner is the Global Executive of Network and Senior Tier Certification Authority at Uptime Institute. He has helped clients justify billions of dollars of site infrastructure investments since 1992. Mr. Turner and Mr. Hank Seader invented what has become the industry standard Tier-level site infrastructure rating system.
Keith Klesner, Senior Vice President, North America, Uptime Institute
Mr. Klesner serves as the Senior Vice President of North America at Uptime Institute. In this role, Mr. Klesner provides leadership and strategic direction to maintain the highest levels of availability for leading organizations around the world. He performs audits, custom strategic-level consulting engagements, and Tier Certifications. Prior to joining Uptime Institute, Klesner was a Manager for Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services.
Enrique Hernandez, Technical Director of Latin America, Uptime Institute
Mr. Hernandez is the Technical Director of Latin America at Uptime Institute, where he oversees Tier Standard: Topology and Tier Standard: Operational Sustainability engagements in the region. In addition to providing technical and operational guidance to the team, Hernandez also serves as one of the primary instructors for the Accredited Tier Designer course, providing education on the Tier Standards in both English and Spanish in countries around the world. Prior to joining Uptime Institute, Mr. Hernandez spent more than 13 years in the data center industry including roles at Data Center Consultores and Grupo Electrotecnica.
Jeffrey Fidacaro, Senior Analyst, Datacenter Technologies, 451 Research
Mr. Fidacaro is a Senior Analyst for Datacenter Technologies at 451 Research with over 16 years of equity research experience covering technology companies as a senior analyst for both investment banks (sell-side) and investment managers (buy-side). Prior to joining 451 Research in 2016, Mr. Fidacaro held analyst roles at Monness, Crespi, Hardt & Co., Susquehanna International Group, Merrill Lynch and other top analyst firms.
Kevin Heslin, Chief Editor, Uptime Institute
Mr. Heslin is Chief Editor at Uptime Institute. Prior to joining Uptime Institute, Mr. Heslin served as an editor at New York Construction News, Sutton Publishing, the IESNA, and BNP Media, where he founded Mission Critical, the leading commercial publication dedicated to data center and backup power professionals. In addition, Heslin served as communications manager at the Lighting Research Center of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Mr. Good is a Global Senior Consultant at Uptime Institute. Mr. Good facilitates client engagements and delivers Tier Topology and Facilities Certifications to contracted clients worldwide. Mr. Good has been in the data center industry for more 25 years and has developed data center programs for enterprise clients around the world.
Eric Hanselman, Chief Analyst, 451 Research
Mr. Hanselman is the Chief Analyst at 451 Research. He has an extensive, hands-on understanding of a broad range of IT subject areas, having direct experience in the areas of networks, virtualization, security and semiconductors. For more than 20 years, Mr. Hanselman has served in technology leadership roles, most recently as CTO of Leostream Corporation as well as prior positions with IBM, Internet Security Systems, Wellfleet/Bay Networks, Sitara Networks and NEC.
