Ahmed Mohammed Al Hammadi, Director/Solutions Marketing/Data Centre, Etisalat
Ahmed Al Hammadi is a lead member of Etisalat’s cloud and data centre team having joined the company in late 2002. Ahmed has a degree in Telecommunications engineering from Khalifa University.

Ahmed’s entire experience has been in the Digital products and services. His main focus is to help businesses reduce TCO and improve their ROI's using agile and innovative IT Infrastructure solutions. Having worked in business domain, Ahmed have extensive cross-vertical industry knowledge and is well aware of the challenges businesses face to improve their business flexibility and the way services delivered to their end users.

Ahmed also worked on providing consultancy services to some of other Etisalat OpCo’s such as Mobily and Maroc Telecom.
Hassan Al Naqbi, Chief Executive Officer, Khazna
Hassan Al Naqbi is the Chief Executive Officer of Khazna, joining in September, 2014.

Prior to joining Khazna, Hassan held various senior positions with du (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC), the most recent of which was as Senior Director, Business Support - datamena and broadcast.

Hassan has been actively involved in positioning and promoting the UAE as the new international data hub and comes with rich experience in managing the development and operations of data centers. He also helped in expanding the IP coverage to emerging markets and international hubs as well as enhancing Internet accessibility to contents within the region. Hassan also held various positions with TECOM and was a member of the UAE Armed Forces.
Benjamin Anthony, Managing Director, Gulf Data Hub
Benjamin has an extensive 25 years IT experience in operations, management and P&L leadership position. Experience in diverse IT working environment from Software development, setup Shared Accounting Services organization, managed Global IT Operations, Program Management for regional Growth-Productivity Improvement program, Regional Sales/Global Account, CIO and recently managing one of the region privately owned state-of-the-art Data Center. 18 years of working experience in global MNC with Siemens and Atos. Previous international posting was in Malaysia, Singapore and short stints in Germany, Shanghai and Mumbai. For the past 8 years based in Dubai managing GCC IT business.
Philip Collerton, Managing Director EMEA, Uptime Institute
Mr. Collerton is the Managing Director of the Uptime Institute in Europe, Middle East and Africa, responsible for all commercial and service delivery activities in the region. Mr. Collerton joined the Uptime Institute in April 2012, and has established a dynamic team based in London and Dubai, focusing on the EMEA region. Mr. Collerton frequently represents the Uptime Institute at data centre industry events, drawing on his expertise in designing, building and operating data centres. He has gained extensive experience in data centre operations, data centre training and staffing, consolidation of data centres and establishment of data centres in new markets and geographies.
Zhang Fan, Chief Solution Architect, Huawei Global Technical Services
With more than 20 years of experience in IT Solutions & Data Center Facility Solutions. Mr. Zhang has been involved in the Planning, Design and Construction of 30+ Mega Data Centers worldwide with a total built area of more than 1 million square meters.
Lee Kirby, President, Uptime Institute
Mr. Kirby is President, providing thought leadership, new product development, and strategic marketing. He facilitates prospective engagements and delivers consistent quality services to contracted clients on a global basis. Additionally, Mr. Kirby serves as a spokesperson and evangelist for various initiatives that are focused on solving systemic issues in the industry. He is based in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Julian Kudritzki, COO, Uptime Institute
Mr. Kudritzki joined the Uptime Institute in 2004 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for the global proliferation of Uptime Institute Standards. He has supported the founding of Uptime Institute offices in numerous regions, including Brasil, Russia, and North Asia. He has collaborated on the development of numerous Uptime Institute publications, education programs, and unique initiatives such as Server Roundup and FORCSS.

Martin McCarthy, CEO, 451 Group
Martin McCarthy, Chief Executive Officer for The 451 Group, a global independent technology research, analysis and professional services firm specializing in enterprise IT. Martin currently also serves as Executive Chairman of Uptime Institute, a division of The 451 Group. Martin has been a technology innovator since the late 1970s, and has prior executive management responsibilities as an owner/operator with a variety of software, service and information companies, most recently IDD Enterprises on Wall Street. Early in his career, he ran the largest division at Western Union corporation, in charge of worldwide messaging services including telex and Easylink electronic mail.
Jack Pouchet, Vice President of Market Development and Energy Initiatives, Emerson Network Power
Jack is based in Southern California working closely with major OEMs, large data center owners and operators, and leading mission critical engineering firms to help define, architect, and create opportunities for advanced power and cooling technologies that improve day-to-day business and operational efficiencies. Jack brings over twenty years of related OEM power supply, power generation, distribution, and power product sales and marketing experience to Emerson Network Power giving him a unique end-to-end perspective of the entire AC and DC power path.

An active member of several industry and sustainability associations including The Green Grid, where Jack serves as the Emerson Board Member, and the Union of Concerned Scientists, Jack is frequently engaged with government agencies and NGOs in research and legislation centered on alternative / renewable energy as well as energy efficiency for data centers. Jack has a Bachelor’s of Arts and MBA in Business Administration.
Adel Rizk, Principal Consultant, Edarat Group
Adel leads the engagement for state-of-the-art data center projects through all aspects, including planning, design, construction, testing & commissioning, and facility management, and Tier Certifications for leading Telecom operators, Banks, Government and for Technologically-advanced smart cities in KSA. To drive the success of these engagements (over 25,000 sqm of computer room area and 150 Megawatts of power capacity), he seamlessly coordinated workflow between clients, UK-based data center consultants, and US-based and Lebanon-based design and engineering firms. The data centers were designed and constructed in compliance with Tier III and IV classification system from Uptime Institute and following the Guidelines of Telecommunications Industry Association Standard (TIA-942) and the Building Industry Consulting Service International, Inc (BiCSI). He also provided and implemented strategic recommendations for upgrade of numerous mission critical data center facilities in order to achieve scalability and high-availability of power and cooling infrastructures within a live production environment.
David Smart, Accredited Programme Director
David Smart is an accredited Programme Director who has achieved an electrical / electronics qualification, a BSc in Information Systems and a Masters in Business Leadership that gives him both a business and a technical understanding of stakeholder requirements to underline his work of delivering high value, complex, multi-disciplined, multi-cultural projects internationally.

David has established a number of programmes for IT infrastructure and facilities development delivery, the most recent being the transformation of two IT-based businesses in Saudi Arabia, into a single business unit. The transformation involves both cultural and change management challenges that will move staff into new office facilities in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), with IT systems migration into an associated new Tier IV Data Centre critical facility to support the national Banking transactions infrastructure. Planning is in process for Operational Sustainability Gold certification for the new Data Centre, once the Constructed facility certification is achieved. David has completed his Uptime Institute ATD accreditation that has rounded out his experiences in developing several critical facilities with a focus on quality of operation for the finished product.
Matt Stansberry, Director of Content & Publications, Uptime Institute
Matt Stansberry is the Uptime Institute Director of Content and Program Director for Uptime Institute Symposium. He has researched the convergence of technology, facility management, and energy issues in the data center since 2003. Mr. Stansberry operates the Uptime Institute social media outlets (Blog, Twitter, and YouTube channel), conducts the annual data center survey, and develops the agenda for Uptime Institute industry events including Symposium and Charrette.
