Abstract - The Uptime Institute Global Survey of Data Center Designers, Consultants and Vendors 2021 shows that suppliers are facing expansion on several fronts. For the third year in a row, about 80% say customer spending is at or above normal levels. However, growth brings both opportunities and challenges. Forecasting data center capacity remains a long-standing challenge — and for the fourth year running, suppliers say it is the biggest issue their clients face. Suppliers have a mixed view of their customers’ willingness to adopt new technologies, including those that can boost efficiency.
