Uptime Institute is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst with experience in data analytics and metrics optimization. We are interested in furthering our data collection and analysis practices, so you will be responsible for instituting new policies, procedures and programs from the ground up. We'll need you to put the data we collect to practical use, with the end goal of maximizing profits and increasing our efficiency. You'll be responsible for processing several different types of data, including those related to our sales and delivery process.

  • Build compelling, clear, and powerful visualizations of our data.
  • Communicate with internal partners to define appropriate data reports and dashboards that become integral to the decision making process
  • Provide historical, current, and predictive views of business operations
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports
  • Understand the business goals and be able to select and define metrics accordingly as well as evolve/improve the metrics over time
  • Review and validate data as it is collected
  • Oversee the deployment of data to the data warehouse
  • Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data
  • Create or discover new data procurement and processing programs
  • Monitor analytics and metrics results
  • Implement new data analysis methodologies
  • Review customer files to ensure integrity of data collection and utilization
  • Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies


  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is required including but not limited to Pivot tables, INDEX MATCH, VLOOKUP, VBA.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint) is preferred.
  • Proficient in database software.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent writing skills to prepare detailed reports
